Paton Air Helicopters specialises in providing rapid response tactical aerial surveillance and fire suppression to local communities through multiply state government organisations Australia wide.

Our experienced pilots deliver a number of specific aerial fire applications with rapid mobilisation to assist in wildfire suppression. We provide state of the art equipment enabling us to change platforms at short notice in the support of evolving and dynamic fire ground situations. Paton Air Helicopters pilots have been at the forefront of developing new techniques and systems to assist in fire suppression for the past 17 years. The recent purchase of two brand new Red Dragon Incendiary machines and their subsequent introduction being a proud point of difference within the aviation community.

In 2019 Paton Air Helicopters partnered with Helicarrier Helicopters to add a ‘Sikorsky S61N - Heavy Lift Helicopter’ to our fleet. As a result we have the capability to deliver high capacity loads of water, gel, foam and retardant on a precision target in remote locations. Linking in with our AS350 Squirrel fleet and on ground fuel supply units, Paton Air Helicopters can bring an entire aerial fighting asset to any location Australia wide.
