our history
Originally founded in 1996 servicing the high country of Victoria and southern New South Wales. Paton Air relocated to Maindample, 15km’s North West of Mansfield in Victoria, in 2003

Today Paton Air Helicopters has grown into one of Victoria’s leading helicopter operators providing remote aerial solutions to private, corporate and government organisations, as well as your local grazier, pastoralist, crop farmer or flower grower
our team
Paton Air Helicopters employs five full time pilots with a combined flying time of 75 years. Our wide ranging experience and skill set provide the opportunity for our clients to achieve their often budget sensitive tasks with speed, accuracy and safety
our partnerships
The 2019/2020 national fire season was unprecedented. Paton Air Helicopters was on the front line with three of our machines rotating through a full time, three month daytime shift fighting fires.
Together with these efforts Paton Air Helicopters partnered with a Canadian based company, Helicarrier Helicopters, to bolster the states resources.
Helicarrier Helicopters provided a Sikorsky S61 capable of lifting 4,550kg of water externally to Victoria’s effort.
Paton Air Helicopters and Helicarrier Helicopters are pleased to announce this continued partnership moving forward with the S61 available for local Victorian work over the 6 months of summer.
